Condition

Overall very good condition. The favrile glass shade is beautifully iridized, imparting the glass with a range of brilliant jewel-toned hues when seen with reflected light. The shade with some scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive, and with some expected concentrated minor surface scratches at the upper collar where the shade is installed into the base. The base is in very good condition with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions to the bronze consistent with age and gentle handling. The harp with some scattered instances of minor pitting to the bronze surface, not visible when the shade is installed. The finial with some rubbing to the gilt finish. The enameled decoration around the upper shoulder of the foot is in very good condition. With a period socket and switch. A very charming small-scaled table lamp displaying a highly complementary shade and base pairing.
