Condition

Overall very good condition. The gilt bronze surfaces with some occasional extremely minor surface scratches, abrasions, and minor rubbing to the gilt patina consistent with age and gentle use. With a rare period Tiffany flower-form favrile glass liner in excellent condition. The liner presents with an intense iridescence in brilliant jewel-tone hues of lavender and aqua, which is amplified by the dense, finely articulated ruffled molding. The interior of the liner and the upper surface of the ruffled molding with some minor traces of ink, not visually detractive. A very charming inkstand design with rare and desirable favrile glass inkwell liner.
