Description

  • 80gr., 2oz.10dwt.
ball shaped, separting into two halves, the central detachable band, chased with a crown flanked by Hebrew blessing of spices on a zig-zag ground,  between applied wropework bands, on a banded stem and domed foot embossed and chased with spiral gothic lobes and foliage, cast openwork finial, painted inventory number 9486, apparently unmarked

Condition

unthreaded tube runs from finial which is fitted to it, through ball shaped spice container and pushes into foot, because there is no thread the body and foot are a bit loose together. Small piece of filigree missing from lower section, General condition is pretty good, colour is excellent
