Condition
This work is in original unlined condition. There is an old patch adhered to the reverse at upper right. Overall the surface is bright and fresh. There is one accretion in the background at upper center and also on the bed at lower right. Under UV: some of the pink and orange pigments remain active and fluoresce. There is inpainting above the figure's proper right wrist that corresponds to the aforementioned patch, a brushy diagonal area of inpainting at upper right, and some finely applied retouches to the figure, foreground, and background.
