Condition
The canvas is lined. Painting presents a strong image beneath a varnish. Very faint stretcher bar marks are visible along the edges. Two thin scratches of about 1 in. are left of face. Underneath UV some small spots of retouching are scattered on the background and in the bottom right corner. Further reading under UV might be impeded because of a milky varnish. Painting is offered in an elaborately carved gilded frame.
