This panel is stable, uncradled, and comprised of a single wooden board with a very slight vertical bow.The paint surface is well preserved and presents a lovely, delicate image. There are two thin, vertical cracks that are visible under bright light, but are not too distracting. One runs from top to bottom on the center of the panel, meanwhile the other runs down about 4 in. from the top edge on the left. Under UV inspection there are some small spots of scattered retouches in the costume and bodies of the figures. A more concentrated area of retouching is on the lower left foreground and on the sky beneath the wing at right. The two aforementioned cracks have been attended to and fluoresce under UV. The panel could hang in its current state. It is offered in a gilded wood frame with an intricate green and red painted design on the outer liner.
