The gold chain link necklace set with three oval-shaped sapphires, one pink, one blue, and one yellow, flanked by pear-shaped cabochon emeralds, accented by round diamonds, the matching earclips set with one pink and one yellow sapphire, necklace length 15½ inches, signed Bulgari, with Italian assay and registry marks. With signed pouch and earclips fitted with posts.

Condition

In good condition, with minor surface scratches to the mounting commensurate with light wear, not noticeable when worn. With Italian assay marks for 18 karat gold. Necklace inscribed 3 Z. CM 31.88 referring to the total carat weight (31.88 cts) of the three sapphires. The pink and yellow sapphires in the earclips weighing a total of approximately 12.50 carats. The blue sapphire is medium light blue, slightly included, with some visible color zoning and a reflective inclusion near the girdle. The two pink sapphires are lightly saturated, the one on the necklace is orangey pink and slightly included, the one in the earclip is pink and eye-clean. The two yellow sapphires are medium light slightly orangy yellow, eye-clean. The emeralds in the necklace weighing approximately 4.43 carats, in the earclips approximately 1.01 carat, are medium green, heavily included. The diamonds in the necklace weighing approximately 2.31 carats, in the earclips weighing approximately 1.81 carats; approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Necklace clasp secure and fitted with a safety closure. Total gross weight approximately 106 dwts. The earclips fitted with posts for wear on pierced ears; earclip length approximately ¾ inch. A photocopy of Bulgari invoice dated November 26, 1984, available upon request.
