Designed as a quatrefoil composed of textured gold, centering a cabochon sapphire within a multi-row surround of round diamonds, rubies, and emeralds.
Condition
In good condition. The yellow metal mounting tests as 18 karat gold. The white metal around the diamonds tests as platinum. The pendant fitting on the reverse tests as 14 karat gold. The semi-opaque cabochon sapphire measuring approximately 13.2 x 12.4 mm is a deep blue, heavily included with some surface reaching inclusions by one of the prongs. The round diamonds weighing in total approximately 4.00 carats are approximately F-G color, VS-SI clarity. The round rubies are a medium slightly purplish red, moderately included with a few examples of surface reaching inclusions. The emeralds are a medium slightly yellowish green, moderately included. Dimensions approximately 2½ x 2¼ inches.
