Accompanied by GCS report no.77100-80, stating that the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heat treatment, measuring approximately 12.9 x 9.4 x 6.9mm, calculated to weigh approximately 9.00 carats. Indistinct assay and maker's marks. Sapphire light blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some very minor chips. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.80 - 1.00 carats. Discoloration to metal mount. Scratches to surfaces consistent with age and wear. Some wear and unevenness to millegrain borders. In good condition.
