楊天驥（1882-1958）舊藏
楊千里，江蘇吳江人。幼承父教，習詩詞書法，曾從吳昌碩請益印藝。早歲入同盟會、南社，曾在上海教學及辦報，歷任教育、司法、外交等部秘書等職，曾兩任吳江縣長。一九三六年脫離政界，以詩書金石自娛。他研習書法篆刻多年，秦漢魏晉諸家，無一不精。

亞洲重要私人收藏近代名家書畫（編號1435-1458）

本輯藏者出自華僑世家，十九世紀末父輩自粵移居南洋，以實業及貿易發迹，富甲一方。他五十年代負笈英倫，遊學歐洲，對中國藝術極感興趣，亦因生活條件優裕，未及弱冠，已於英歐拍賣行及古董店搜購古玩舊瓷。六十年代中至七十年代初，他輾轉於東南亞及港澳等地居住，並經友人及畫商之介，四處搜求書畫作品，範圍主涉近現代名家，不拘南北，京、滬、穗畫家皆為搜羅之列，如張大千、黃賓虹、溥儒、于非闇、鄧芬、黎雄才、高劍父等，不少源自星港兩地前輩收藏家舊藏。

對其收藏，他甚為寶愛，近半世紀以來，一直妥善保存，鮮有示人，並有清單記錄來源及品評質量；與中介之單據及往來書信，部份仍保留至今。藏品直至近期方漸次於英國及香港釋出，近現代畫部份去年秋在香港蘇富比面世，反應熱烈。今推出第二輯共廿四幀，其中渡海三家精品多幅，如張大千盛年工筆古典美人〈凝思〉、每幅構圖精妙之溥儒〈山光水色〉冊等；如廣東鄧芬寫予仇啟雲夫婿陳達明之六尺鉅幅〈松濤琴韻〉、嶺南諸家雅集時合寫，以少昂畫虎為主題之〈虎嘯秋風〉；以及海派名家吳昌碩、王一亭逸品多幅，蔚然大觀，足見其品味眼光！
