上款：「遵之」即唐遵之，上海人，一九二三年生。幼受家庭熏陶，雅好文藝。在滬期間，與文壇耆宿遊，親炙時賢，獲贈不少書畫。四十年代末抵港，投身紡織工業界。善攝影，文學造詣亦深，筆下甚健，屢在報刊發表文章。居港四十餘年間，與書畫界交往頻仍，七、八十年代來港舉行展覽者，多與他友善。歷年獲名家贈畫甚豐，如傅抱石、張大千、陸儼少等皆以其室號「斗大草堂」為題作畫，本幅即其一。
