Condition
Good overall condition. This carpet has been cleaned and restored under Sotheby's supervision. A large hole of 15 cm of diameter was rewoven, as well as a few tiny holes throughout the surface and some tiny restorations along the edges. The edges still present with a few tears. For a better conservation of the piece we would recommend to reinforce the weft.
