Condition
Good overall condition. A few light surface scratches scattered. Traces of oxidation on the base of one of the mustard pot and on one spoon. One bump on the upper part of the pepper mill. The two salt cellars and the two pepper pots are jammed and do not open. They present with signs of previous attemps to open them (deep scratches on the base). The set seems to have been originally partially gilded and there are remnants of gilt (as visible on the catalogue illustration). The wooden base is slightly dried overall and the veneer is slightly lifting on one foil.
