Condition

Overall good condition, consistent with age and use The leather, most likely original, presents with a dent on the left part. Wear and scratches scattered on the leather top. Discolouration of some areas. Drying off of the veneer and the varnish throughout the desk, with a few cracks within the veneer. Some wood discolouration, especially on the side drawers. Small cracks and minute losses on the veneer, especially at the junctions. A few veneer liftings scattered, and a lifting of veneer on the left side with very minor loss. One ivory handle replaced. The drawers have been restored. The trimming of the front keyhole is torn. The key from the front drawer is missing (the drawer is open). Two minor losses on the legs of approximately 5 cm each.
