Condition
Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces with scattered scuffs, surface scratches and rubbing, concentrated to the bases of the legs. The upper areas of the backrest near the joins each with hairline cracks which have been professionally and sensitively restored and are stable, each measuring approximately 9 cm in length. Two of these hairline cracks with infill, and another with an area of closely matched replaced timber measuring approximately 2.5 x 8 cm and is not visually disruptive. The top proper left corner of the rear of the central backrest panel with a minor chip .The rear proper left leg of one chair with a hairline crack measuring approximately 2x2 cm and has been professionally and sensitively restored. One chair sits slightly uneven. One backrest is slightly loose. The original leather upholstery is in very good condition, supple and with scattered surface scuffs and scratches. The caning on each chair is possibly replaced. A beautiful set of chairs from the originator of Danish Modernist design.
