  • 16.8 cm, 6 5/8  in.
with an irregularly shaped body modelled with textured walls marked with uneven thickness and a fluid grain, the knotted exterior accentuated with burls and whorls of varying sizes as well as two cavities enveloping two rocks, the countersunk base incised with three characters reading Wuyi zhai ('Studio of No Idleness'), the well patinated surface of a warm caramel-brown colour

Condition

In overall good condition. There are typical age crackles, with a few small areas slightly retouched and infilled. There are also expected light surface scratches.
