Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is mounted to panel and unlined. The collaged paintbrush elements are stable and well intact. The canvas is slightly buckling as a result of the collaged paintbrush elements. The surface texture irregularities are consistent with the artist's choice of medium and working method. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges and corners. Under close inspection, there is evidence of surface soiling, minor scuffs and some rubbing particularly along the perimeter of the work. Under close inspection, there is evidence of stray medium and a few areas of pinpoint loss to the pigment. Unframed.
