Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched, and the media layer is stable overall. A few minor pinpoint spots of media loss are present around the extreme edges of the canvas. Under raking light inspection, two one-inch oval areas of fine spiderweb craquelure become apparent int he lower center quadrant in the ovoid element, however these areas are stable. Under ultraviolet light inspection, a few isolated spot accretions become apparent in the lower right quadrant of the work.
