Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light handling and wear along the edges including hairline craquelure at the pull margins with some associated areas of loss. The canvas is slightly loose on its stretcher. There is an approximately 2-inch vertical gray media accretion above center that may be from the time of execution. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under extremely close inspection, some localized areas of hairline craquelure are visible and there is a 0.5-inch oval spot accretion visible 9-inches from the left and 40.5-inches from the bottom edge. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
