Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of handling to the edges. There are small isolated areas of paint loss in the center of the upper edge and in the center of the left edge as well as along the lower left edge. There are raised cracks throughout. Alligoatoring is evident in the yellow area near the center of the left edge. Cracking of the paint is scattered throughout. There is a white spot media accretion in the center of the work approximately 5 inches from the top edge. There is a minor isolated loss approximately 3 inches to the right of the aforementioned white spot accretion. Under Ultraviolet light, the aforementioned white drip media accretion and surface abrasion to the right of the accretion fluoresce. Additionally, under Ultraviolet light, the work fluoresces darkly and brightly throughout, possibly as a result of crack consolidation. Framed in an artist’s frame and additional frame.
