Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly cooler with fewer magenta undertones and it fails to fully convey the textured surface visible in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheets are attached verso to the backing board and undulate slightly. The horizontal edges and the right vertical edge of the left sheet, and left vertical edge of the right sheet are deckled. There are artist's staple holes to all four corners of the overall composition, with some associated tears. Extremely close inspection reveals some lightly pressed impasto peaks in places.
