Condition
Colour: The colours in the printed catalogue are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly cooler in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals fine tension cracks running intermittently along the edges. There is evidence of handling, noticeably towards the edges and the upper left quadrant. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.

Catalogue Note
"A work of art, rather than being a self-complete, independent entity, is a resonant relationship with the outside. It exists together with the world, simultaneously what it is and what it is not, that is, a relatum." Lee Ufan cited in: Exh. Cat., Venice, 52nd Venice Biennale, 2007, n.p.
