Condition
Colour: The overall tonality is much lighter and brighter in the original. The outermost band of green tends more towards apple, the middle green band tends more towards emerald and the inner most square tends more towards dark green than brown. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some fine tension cracks to the extreme overturn edges, some of which have tiny associated losses. Extremely close inspection in raking light reveals a few very faint and short hairline cracks in isolated places. Examination under ultra violet light reveals a small spot of retouching on the extreme of the top edge, 35cm in from the top left hand corner.
