Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly lighter in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There are some some networks of hairline cracks in places, some of which have tiny associated losses. Very close inspection reveals some light evidence of rubbing in places. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals a tiny spot of inpainting towards the centre of the upper left edge, with an associated network of fine cracks. Further inspection under ultra-violet light reveals a tiny speck to each extreme top corner tip that fluoresce lightly.
