Condition
Original canvas. There is a slightly discoloured layer of surface varnish and some surface dirt. Otherwise the work appears to be in very good original condition with passages of rich impasto. UV light inspection reveals no evidence of any retouching or restoration. Held in a moulded gilt composition frame.
