Catalogue Note
Wenzel Brezina specialized in hunting themed items, particularly smoking and riding accessories. When he participated in a 1910 hunting exhibition in Vienna, it was noted, “his specialty appears to be cigarette-cutters with animal heads... one also comes across walrus teeth with richly-chased silver figures.” (Neuwirth 1976, p. 126).
