of heavy weight, cover enameled with a double portrait of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahala, the surfaces enameled with flowering foliage and birds, the cover with a running border of diamonds, the sides with six matching diamond flowerheads, apparently unmarked

Lower left corner bruised, flange inside needs straightening, 3 small chips on base, exceptional weight of gold
