Description
- Each panel : 140,5 x 35 cm ; 55 3/8 x 13 3/4 in.
Condition
Good overall condition. The surface with scattered light scratches, small chips mostly concentrated along the edges (some chips of gilt only, some chips of gilt and lacquer - partially visible in the online catalogue illustration) including a few chips previously restored. Scattered black stains on both proper left panels and some on one proper right panel, visible on the catalogue illustration. These black stains appears to be previous attempts of restoration of some wear to the gilding that have faded with time. The reverse with some significant wear to the brown/black lacquer, concentrated to the centre of the panels. Some scratches, scuffs and dents scattered, with more significant ones on the reverse on the proper left panels. Some missing screws in the hinges, not jeopardizing the stability of the screens.
