Condition
Bronze and ostrich egg. Egg: There is a small hole (diameter approx. 0,5 cm) with associated minor scuffs on the edges. The egg is faintly inscribed in pencil and there are a few dots of ingrained dirt. Sculpture: Attractive green patina. There are a few plaster residues in places, notably on the base and to the ostrich's head. There are a few surface scratches, predominately to the base, consistent with age and handling, a few scattered dots of verdegris, notably to the upper part of the ostrich's left-hand leg and some minor wear to the patina. There is some superficial dust in the crevices. This work is in overall good condition.
