Description

  • 11.7 cm, 4 5/8  in.
the interior deftly incised and carved with a pair of fish swimming amid waves, the exterior encircled by a double-line border around the midsection, applied overall with an ivory-tinged glaze

Collection of T.Y. Chao (1912-1999).

Condition

In overall good condition with expected nicks to the rim and firing imperfections, including kiln grits and flakes to the foot and a glaze gap on the exterior. Traces of adhesive on the exterior.
