Catalogue Note

Artist's inscription:
Fifth month, summer. The sky just cleared after rain. The winds were bitingly cold. By chance I had raw silk on my desk and attempted this painting. Originally I had intended to imitate the Mi-family landscape, but now it again resembled Juran's brush idea. Because I have both scrolls in my collection, my mental pictures of them are at the tip of my brush.
