Description

  • Boucheron
The rectangular compact set to the front with textured and polished woven pattern on a blue enamel ground, the reverse and edges with floral decoration, opening to reveal a mirror and powder compartment, measuring approximately 80 x 57 x 12mm, signed Boucheron, numbered, French assay mark for silver, gross weight approximately 129.50 grams.

Condition

Signed Boucheron Paris, numbered 64535 and stamped with French assay mark for silver and with an indistinct additional assay mark to inside edge of case. Enamel with signs of wear, a few areas of enamel loss, some minor pits an light scratches. Scratches to metal surfaces, dents to corners. Lid opens easily. Lid is slightly off-centred. Areas of light discolouration to silver to inside case. Silver in general darkened. Mirror in good condition. Overall condition commensurate with age and wear. Measuring approximately 80 x 57 x 12mm. Gross weight approximately 129.5 grams
