- 25.4 by 16.5cm.
Arabic manuscript on paper, 33 leaves plus 7 fly-leaves, written in ghubar script in black ink, verses separated by gold dots, surah headings in red ink, ruled in red gold and blue, polychrome and gold verse markers in the margins the first and last bifolia decorated with central roundels within a lobed panel decorated with floral scrolls, the first and last bifolia of text with illuminated floral borders, in brown binding with faded gilt decoration
Condition
In generally good condition, some pages loose but complete, minor tears and damage to the borders of the pages but the illumination bright, minor smudges to the ink, repairs to the binding, as viewed.
