- 15.5cm.
of waisted form with polychrome enamel decoration depicting women and other figural scenes with angels in cartouches amid flowers on a gold ground, between two turquoise lines, on wooden base, with attached brass suspension loops and chains

Sold in these rooms, 28 April 1994, lot 227.
Condition
Sections of enamel bright, the extremities, particularly the edges with some breaks and associated restoration including re-painting and some infill, areas of gold leaf ground worn, some hairline cracks through enamel, some of turquoise restored and replaced with infill, the wooden base slightly loose, suspension loops drilled into enamel, interior with some discoloration and abrasion, as viewed.
