1) gouache heightened with gold on paper, the painting surmounted by 10 lines of fine nasta’liq within 4 columns; 2) the leaf on the right hand side with 12 lines of fine nasta’liq surmounted by a gold and polychrome headpiece

Condition
In good condition, mounted, the painting with minor flaking and very minor re-painting, the margins are clean with minor stains and few consolidation to the paper, the reverse of the painting with a collection label of H.K. Monif, the headpiece in very good condition, as viewed.
