Condition
The box and cover come with a Japanese wood box and silk cover. This box and cover are made of lacquered wood and not cinnabar lacquer as indicated in the print catalogue. The box and cover are in overall good condition. There are minor restored chips to the rims of each layer and a crack on the top of the cover. There are losses of lacquer to the base of the footring. There are small natural age cracks, the longest measuring 2.5 cm. There is a glossy patina overall.
