circulaire, le pourtour habilement sculpté en relief utilisant les inclusions de la pierre et figurant un dragon et un animal fantastique marin surmontés de personnages agitant une bannière au-dessus de vagues agitées, monture signée Cartier, circa 1925 (2)

Condition

The snuff bottle is in overall good condition. The rim and base are fitted with 18K gold mounts, the one on the rim signed Cartier. There is wear to the mounts. The emerald inlays are bruised. There is a ca. 0.2 cm hairline crack starting at the rim, just under the mount. There are minute fritts to the raised parts of the carving.
