Condition
Executed on cream wove paper laid down on board. There are thin strips of wood affixed along the extreme edges. The upper left corner is torn and scuffed. Examination under UV light reveals a few dots of fluorescence, notably to the crown and to the orange pigment in the lower part of the model which does not appear to relate to any retouching. There is a small horizontal line of skinning (approx. 3 cm long) in the green pigment to the model's arm. There are some tiny areas of minor paint shrinkage with associated flecks of pigment loss, predominately in the black pigment. This work is in overall good condition.
