Condition

It has not been possible to see the work entirely unframed. The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals small areas of retouching throughout the composition in the cream pigment. There are a few dots of minor abrasion in the water to the lower right quadrant (15 cm from right edge and 11 cm from lower edge). There are a few dots of superficial dirt to the lower part of the composition in the sea. There are a few scattered fly spots. There is some frame rubbing along the extreme edges. This work is in overall fairly good condition and could benefit from a clean.
