Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is less contrasted. The catalogue illustration does not convey the richness of the material. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The surface presents some very minor hairline cracks, visible upon close inspection only. One small uplift is located by the lower edge in the centre. Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in very good condition.
