Each in overall very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The wooden frames with minor scattered scuffs, chips and surface scratches which are not visually disruptive. The joints with minor seam separations and are stable. The top proper right corner of the backrest of two chairs with hairline cracks each measuring approximately 1 5/8 inch and the rear lower left corner of another chair with a hairline crack measuring approximately 1 3/8 inch. The front proper left corner of one chair with a minor loss to the trim measuring approximately 3/8 x 3/8 inch and is not visually disruptive. The rear proper left edge of the rear seat frame of one chair with a minor loss to the wood measuring approximately ¼ x 3/8 inch. The proper left rear join to one chair is missing a dowel and there is some movement between the seat and backrest. The vinyl upholstery is newer and exhibits minor rubbing and a few scattered minor scuffs and marks which may come out with a gentle clean. An elegant set of ten chairs in Louis XV style.
