- 44 by 17 by 4.5 cm.
from the right end of the front of a child sarcophagus, carved with the figure of an erote striding to right, holding a crater-shaped fruit basket on his left shoulder and a dead rabbit in his right hand, and wearing a chlamys, his head turned back and up; no restorations.

Belgian private collection, Brussels, acquired in the 1970s, mounted on a Belgian black marble base characteristic of the 1950s (Galerie Moderne, Brussels, February 27th-28th, 2018, no. 554, illus.)

Condition
As shown and described. Two circular machine-made holes drilled through above and on either side of the head, probably for an earlier mount. Surface smooth and in good condition overall, with minor nicks and abrasions.
