Description

  • Height 14.5 cm.
the head turned to her right, with childlike features and pointed ears, her hair arranged in a plait on the crown and surmounted by a wreath of ivy leaves and berries, the ends of a fillet falling over the shoulders and terminating in a necklace strung with ivy leaves centering a cluster of berries; no restorations.

Condition

Repaired across proper left shoulder and end of fillet and ivy leaf. Tip of nose and upper lip chipped. Proper right shoulder with end of fillet abraded. Surface slightly repolished, with minor nicks and abrasions overall. Mounted on 19th century white marble stepped based with remains of gold paint.
