Description
- Height from modern base 25.4 cm.
seated on a rectangular base with his hands emerging from his enveloping cloak and resting on his knees, the left hand positioned forward of the right, and wearing a wide wig falling to the shoulders, his broad face with full lips rounded and indented at the corners, and large almond-shaped eyes with long cosmetic lines and arched eyebrows in relief, the inscription carved in front translating“An offering which the King gives to Horus of Nekhen, and Nekhbet, the Majesty of Nekheb, and Osiris, the Lord of Rosetau, that they may give invocation-offerings of bread and beer, oxen and fowl, alabaster vessels and clothing, incense and oil, all produce and vegetables, cool water, wine and milk, and all good things on which a god may live, for the One Bound to the Temple, Iri....”

Condition
Fragmentary as shown. Small nicks, scratches and abrasions overall. Bottom of wig in back heavily abraded. Series of deeper and larger chips below proper right shoulder.
