This work is in good condition. Upon closer inspection, some scattered craquelure across the painting an scattered paint losses to the lower left corner edge, all in line with the age of the painting. The paint is slightly dry in the darker areas and could benefit from a surface cleaning.No signs of restoration under the UV light.
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are accurate, with the overall tonalities being softer in the original work.
