Condition
Overall the condition of the terracotta is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is an old orange slip to the patina. There is some minor flaking to the patina, in particular at the back of the bust. There are few minor pencil marks, including to the proper left cheek. There are areas of wear to the patina, particularly at the neck. There is a small loss to the surface at the chin. There is some minor wear to the ceramic tile and at the edges of the socle. There are a few small chips on the terracotta at the joint with the tile.
