Overall the condition of the terracotta is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is minor hairline craquelure, consistent with firing, notably to the head. There is a slip to the surface throughout. There is some minor dark spotting in areas, notably the hair on the proper right side and to the proper right arm. There are a few small chips, in particular to the edges of the base.
