Condition
Both chairs in overall very good condition. The canvas upholstery of both is original and in good condition with minor areas of surface dirt and two small areas of light discoloration which is not visually distracting. All the roping of the seats is in very good, original condition. The wood of both chairs presents with faint and scattered nicks, scratches and minor scuffs, all consistent with gentle use and age of the wood. There is a minor indentation to the top of one upright on one chair. The underseat back stretcher of one chair with a very minor hairline to the wood, which is stable and common in wood of this age. The pair of chairs show great period age and are part of a lounge chair motif developed and augmented by Wegner throughout his career.
