Condition

Movement running at the time of cataloguing. The dial and hands in very good condition. The case with very few signs of light wear, the band with very minor surface scuffs. The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and that a service may be required at the buyer's discretion.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on November 2007, booklets and presentation case.  

The Gondolo Gemma collection was only produced between 2006 and 2010 and is inspired by the driver's watches from the 1930's such as reference 139.

Reference 4991 was produced in pink and white gold and is characterized by its combination of diamond-set bezel and lugs and the manual winding calibre 16-250/160.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this watch has been presented at auction.
