Production of 5059 began in 1998 and ended in 2006. Its combination of sweep seconds, perpetual calendar and retrograde date functions, as well as the much-loved Officer-style case, has made this an important model among collectors.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this watch has been presented at auction.
